We operate a cafe-dining establishment in a prime location, a 3-minute walk from Kawaramachi, Kyoto. Before COVID-19 it was an extremely popular venue, averaging ¥2.5 million per month with a peak of ¥4 million, and was even courted by well-known commercial tenants. However, triggered by the state of emergency during the pandemic, the venue entered a prolonged closure. We recently reopened, but with no time to devote to promoting this cafe, it has continued to fall short of its full potential, which led us to decide on a business transfer.
