I run a community-based shop that buys a wide range of items including brand-name goods, precious metals, and unwanted items. There are no competitors nearby, and there is no inventory risk, because purchased goods can be sold to headquarters or to dealers. Since opening at the start of the year, the business has never recorded a loss, and last month it reached a record profit of ¥3 million. With a shopping district and supermarket nearby, there is heavy foot traffic, and rent is kept low, so high profits can be expected going forward.
