The open-air bath, where you bathe while gazing at a nature-rich ravine, is mixed-gender and is popular with families and couples, drawing many repeat visitors from outside the prefecture. Because it sits in the middle of the hot spring village, guests staying in the village also drop by, creating a synergistic effect for the village as a whole.
