[Business Overview] A business that grants and trains for specialized certifications related to 'mokuiku' (wood education). 1) We operate and manage a certification system to promote and support the activities of those who work with wood. 2) We provide the tools needed to hold seminars that convey the philosophy of 'wood education' and the value of interacting with wood. [Market] Corporations or individuals involved in forestry and the timber industry. ・ Mainly construction firms, homebuilders, and lumber dealers. ・ There is no particular regional bias; customers are located all over Japan. [Products & Services] Provision of training services aimed at acquiring knowledge about 'wood education' and how to apply it. ・ The training consists of three components: 'textbook study,' 'video content viewing,' and 'confirmation tests.' ・ For the textbook, we use the 'Mokuiku Meister Training Program,' for which we have obtained a usage license from the Hokkaido government. ・ The video content and confirmation tests were created independently by our corporation. ・ In addition, we present certificate holders with a certificate of completion, a certification badge, seminar tools, and a wooden business card holder engraved with their name. [Business Strengths] With the global SDGs trend, attention is focused on the use of timber. Demand for this certification, through which one can learn about the benefits of wood and interacting with wood, may also increase. The training is handled online plus by mail, so business development outside Hokkaido is also possible. It has been adopted for the new-employee onboarding training of a major homebuilder, and nearly 200 employees obtained the certification. It has been adopted as a recommended certification by a major building-materials group, and certification spread among construction firms nationwide.
